Getting Snoozzzy to work on my ASUS WL-500W

Currently I'm trying to get Snoozzzy to run on my ASUS WL-500W running OpenWrt compiled from trunk. Sadly, currently it crashes causing the kernel usb HID module to Oops. As I found out LCD4Linux does work with my display and serdisplib with this device, I'm confident I should be able to get things done.
Snoozzzy does run fine under Debian, wich is my development environment. I got everything working accept volume management. I figured Snoozzzy was mature enough to start porting it to OpenWrt.
Volume management will be a next first thing to do.
